Dover's pitchers combined to throw a 4-hitter at Summit. Dover's record improved to 8-3. Eric Della Piazza had a big day at the plate as he went 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs, plus a walk.
Summit scored its two runs in the 2nd inning to momentarily tie the game. With two out, Ben Roessle and Tim Kane drew walks and Della Piazza drove them both in with a double.
