Madison broke a 4-4 tie in the top of the 7th inning to advance to the Championship round of Millburn's Krug Tournament. Madison picked up an unearned run in the top of the second and Summit tied it up with a run in the bottom of the 2nd. With two outs Tim Kane boomed a triple and Eddie Hagan drove him in with a single. Madison put Summit back in a hole in the top of the 3rd when they hammered four consecutive hits and an infield out to score 3 runs. Summit tied the game up in the bottom of the 4th. Kenny Miller got things started with a single and Eric Forsell was hit by the pitcher. After one out, Hagan was walked to load the bases. A single by Evan Chang drove in the first run, a fielder's choice by Eric Della Piazza scored the second and a single by Matt Carbone brought in the 3rd and tieing run.

The game remained tied until the top of the 7th inning when Madison scored 3 runs off 5 hits. In the bottom of the 7th Summit managed get two runners on via walks and brought the tieing run to the plate with 2 outs, but Madison's Freshman reliever struck out Summit's final batter.

Summit will play in the consolation round next Saturday at 11AM
