You might say that this was the perfect storm for Summit baseball. The Summit bats turned silent, the defense had its worst game of the season and Par Hills' Williams had his best day on the mound. Par Hills picked up 17 runs, only 3 of which fell into the earned category, on 10 hits.
Summit's only highlight of the game was a home run over the left center fence in the 5th inning by Eric Della Piazza.
