Matt Ruark set the tone for this game when on the 1st play from scrimmage he ran 53 yards to the the Ft. Lee 8 yard line. On the next play he took it in for the score. The game settled in to more of a battle until Keith Schongar intercepted a Ft. Lee pass and returned it 65 yards for a 2nd TD to put Summit ahead 14-0. Summit's final possession of the 1st half started on the Summit 25 yard line. The power running of Mike Vitale and Ruark gave Summit a 1st down at the the Ft. Lee 24. Vitale carried the ball to the 21 and Edgar Ozols found Kevin Delle Donne for a 21 yard TD pass.

Matt Rea took the opening kick off of the second half and returned to the Summit 41. Vitale and Ruark moved the ball to the Ft. Lee 41 yardline where Rea broke loose on a 41 yard run for the TD. Ft. Lee's next possession started on their 1 yard line. On their 3 rd play Delle Donne recovered a fumble and returned it 5 yards for a TD. Sophimore Alex Melendez kicked the first of his 2 PATs. Summit's final score came in the 4th quarter when sophomores Adem Kaloshi, Dwaine Dabney and Danny Feeney took the ball 43 yards for a TD. The final 10 yads were coverd by D. Feeney.
