The first three quarters were a see-saw battle with Summit taking a 7-0 lead ,then falling behind 27-25 at the half. Chris Kehoe led Summit's 1st half scoring with 14 of his game high 22 points. The 3rd quarter saw Summit regain a 41-38 lead with Jordan Healey and Andre Torres leading the way with 5 points each. That set the stage for a great burst of scoring to begin the 4th quarter. Kyle Mahoney got things started with FG. This was followed by three 3-pointers , one by Kehoe and two by Kendall Baker . After a FG by Morris Hills and a free throw by Mahoney Summit held a 53-40 lead with 3:45 left to play. The remainder of the game consisted of free throws by Summit as Morris Hills tried to climb back into the game. Morris Hills came within 4 points before Kehoe drained a pair of free throws to get the lead back to six points with 1:04 remaining. Two more free throws by Adolpho Arrieta made it a 7 point lead with 40 sec on the clock. With 13 seconds left Morris Hills closed the gap to 4 points but a free throw by Kehoe put the game out of reach.

Summit now needs to win 2 of the next 3 game (Mendham, West  Essex and Parsippany) in order to qualify for the NJSIAA State Tournament.
