Summit played a bit of Dr. Jelyll an Mr. Hyde, alternating between very good and pretty bad. Summit, led by 5 points from Chris Kehoe and 4 from Kendall Baker, built an 11-2 lead in the first quarter. However, the play turned cold in the 2nd quarter and only Kehoe was able to put points on the board. Still, Summit led at the half 17-11.

Summit came back to life in the 3rd quarter and outscored S. Plainfield 15-8. led by Kehoe's 9 points. That allowed Summit to enter the 4th quarter holding a strong 32-19 lead. Unfortunately, S. Plainfield turned up the full court press in the final quarter and Summit began making mistakes. Sloppy ball handling and some unfortunate passing choices allowed S. Plainfield to out score Summit 17-7. Only Andre Torres was able to score from the field, for 5 points. Summit's weak free throw shooting continued as they went to the line 8 time during the quarter, only coming away with 2 points.

Kehoe led the offense with 21 points and Kehoe and Jordan Healy each garnered 8 rebounds.
