Summits Varsity Hilltoppers dedicated this game to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and, wearing their pink socks, brought their “A” game to the floor in the first half. Emily Cristaldi and Alex Reid got the women going, scoring 5 and 4 respectively in the quarter, and with Shannon Murphy and Jamie Osmulski playing tough “D”, held Dover scoreless as they raced to a 13-0 first quarter lead, with Melissa Scott hitting the final bucket of the quarter.  Summit’s shooting hit a new level in the second quarter, when they scored the most points in any quarter this year, registering 24 on 11 for 12 shooting from the field, led by Cassie Hall’s 4 for 4, and Osmulski’s 3 for 4. Many of these buckets were set up by Jenna Wilson, who penetrated and dished off in her best all around game of the year. Wilson finished with 6 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds.  With the game in hand, Coach quieted the offense.  Summit got good efforts from Claire Cummins, Michelle Burian, Natalia Angelo, Najla Austin, Megan Trindell and Lauren Zarsky for the last two quarters, and this group caused many Dover turnovers and kept the game well in hand.
