The second game of the double header with Dover was played under the lights at the High School. Eddie Hagan drew the starting pitching assignment and had his best performance of the season. Hagan pitched a complete game 5 hitter. He allowed only 1 unearned run through the first 6 innings. With Summit up 9-1 in the top of the 7th Dover managed a couple of meaningless runs.

Summit jumped to a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning on singles by Kenny Miller, Hagan and Ben Roessle and a triple by Tim Spangler. Summit added one run when Nick Orestanio singled in the 3rd inning and advanced to 3rd on a couple of errors. He was driven in by Tim Cotter's infield out. Summit added 3 more runs in the 4th. Hagan, Chang and Orestanio walked, Spangler doubled and Roessle hit a sacrifice fly. Summit's final 3 runs came in the 5th inning. Tim Kane got things started with a lead off single. Miller was safe on a error and Hagen aided his cause by driving in Kane with a single. Spangler drove in two more with a double (his third extra base hit of the game).
