This rain shortened game was barely a baseball game. After establishing a 6-0 lead in the 2nd inning. Summit's primary motivation was to move the game along to get to five innings as quickly as possible. However, a victory is a victory.
Tim Kane pitched 5 good innings, allowing only one hit.
Summit is now 7-9-1 and must win the remaining 3 games this week to qualify for the State Tournament.
