4:00PM Lost 2-0  Two first half goals by Dover forced Summit to play from behind for a majority of the match.  Josh Rosen kept Summit in the game recording 7 saves.
Thu 09/18 Governor Livingston High School

4:00PM Won 4 - 0 Manuel Navas lead the scorring attack with two goals.  Kevin Becerra and Matt Boozan both had a goal and an assist each.  Josh Rosen earned his first shutout of the season with 5 saves.
Mon 09/22 Chatham High School

4:00PM Won 3-1 Chatham took the lead halfway through the first half off a corner,  yet the Freshmen Hilltoppers battled back 4 minutes before the half's end with a goal by Manuel Navas, assisted by Mitchel Martins.  From the get go of the second, Summit asserted their authority in the midfield by maintaining a majority of possession for the remainder of the match.  Travis Harden received the benefits of the team's effort scoring both second half goals, one of which was assisted by Matt Boozan.  The combined defensive efforts by Charles Zazzera, Matt Miller, and Andrew Gilbert shut down any hope of an opponent's comeback.
Wed 09/24 Morris Hills High School

4:00PM Won 3-2 After a scoreless first half, the team rallied back from a one goal deficit in the second with three goals for the win.  The scoring trio of Kevin Becerra, Travis Harden, and Manuel Navas each scored a goal apiece to propell the team towards earning thier fourth victory of the season.

Tie 3-3 Despite falling behind by 2 goals, the team rallied back in the final 20 minutes with 3 goals forcing a tie against West Essex.  Kevin Becerra lead the comeback with 2 goals and Travis Harden the other as Summit's gritty comeback resulted from thier domination of possession in the field of play.
Mon 10/06 Parsippany Hills High School

4:00PM Won 5-0 Overall the team excelled in this match as the five goals came from five different players, 4 of which scored for the first time this season.  Will Baker, Travis Harden, Leo Rodriguez, Alex Vega, and Charlie Zazzera each scored a goal propelling the team to thier 5th victory of the season.  Josh Rosen and Will Brenn combined for the shutout in goal
Fri 10/10 Mendham High School

4:00PM Lost 3-1 Mendham's direct style of play of kick and run resulted in three goals, hindering Summit's ability to gain control of the match and play thier game.  Matt Scheer scored Summit's lone goal off a set piece delivered by Charlie Zazzera.
Thu 10/16 Dover High School
A
4:00PM Lost 3-1 Despite Summit controling a majority of the match and creating a fair amount of chances to score, the team lost to Dover for the second time of the season.  Matt Scheer converted a penalty in the 64th minute for Summit.
Fri 10/17 Governor Livingston High School

4:00PM Won 7-1 Summit got back to their winning ways through a complete team effort as seven different players socred to give the team their 6th win of the season.  Goals were scored by Kevin Becerra, Matt Miller, Matt Scheer, Manuel Navas, Eric Stabler, Abraham Arce, and Tim Schlenger.  Josh Rosen & Will Brenn combined in goal to hold Governor Livingston to one goal.
Thu 10/23 Chatham High School

4:00PM Lost 4-1 The second match verse Chatham did not turnout as good as the first as a few defensive mistakes and an inability to score goals from the quality chances created handed Summit thier 4th loss of the season.  Summit's lone goal came in the 11th minute when Kevin Becerra put home a half volley from a Matt Scheer corner.
Sat 10/25 Morris Hills High School

12:00PM Won 3-2 On a damp day, Summit's travels to Morris Hills proved successful as the team recored another win verse their conference opponents.  Two goals from Matt Scheer (one from a penalty) and another by Kevin Becerra was enough for Summit to hold off a Morris Hills comeback.
Thu 10/30 West Essex HS

4:00PM Won 3-1 Through another solid team effort, Summit played quality soccer to get their 8th victory of the year.  Eric Stabler got the scoring going off a Tim Schlenger pass in the 11th minute.  Kevin Becerra found a loose ball in the opponent's penalty box and fed Stuart Railey in scoring in the 35th minute.  Travis Hardin finished Summit's scoring by blasting home an unassisted goal early in the 2nd half.
Mon 11/03 Kearney A 4:00PM Lost 4-0 Playing against a quality Kearny side, Summit unfortunately finished the season with a loss.  Despite the scoreline, the team played competatively threatening the Kearny goal on numerous occassions, yet were unable to break through.  The team finishes with an 8-5-1 record, scoring a total of 37 goals in 14 games (a 2.64 goals for average), 2 shutouts, and 14 different players scoring goals this seaon.
