Summit 12 20 23 28 83
Dover 14 6 18 33 71
Summit did what it had to do to make it into the state Tournament, and they did it convincingly. Dover's Tovar scored 10 of his 38 points in the 1st quarter and Dover took a 14-12 lead. The second quarter was all Summit. Summit drained 4 3-pointers (Andre Torres 2 and one each for Jordan Healy and Kendall Baker)plus 4 2 pointers (all by David Newton). They went to the locker ahead by 12 points. The trend continued in the 3rd quarter with Torres and Healy leading the way and Summit was up 17 points going into the 4th quarter. Mindfull if what happened at Parsippany Hills the Summit fans were still a bit nervous. In spite of a great effort from Dover's Tovar, who had 24 points in the quarter, the closest Dover could get was 9 points. Unlike the Par Hills game, Summit was great at the foul line, sinking 14 of their 16 trys.

Summit's scoring was dominated by three players; Newton with 24, Healy with 20 and Torres with 18. Healy, yet again, led the rebounding with 8.
