Summit lost its third winnable game in a row, putting its state tournament chances in serious jeopardy. After a slow 1st quarter, Matt Wholey and Jordan Healy each had six 2nd quarter points to help Summit take a 20-17 lead. The 3rd quarter went to Hanover Park. Football nemesis Nagy scored all of his 8 points in the quarter as Hanover Park out scored Summit 19-11 and entered the final quarter with a 5 point lead.
Hanover Park struck first in the 4th to give them a 7 point advantage. Summit responded with 4 points by David Newton, a trey from Kendall Baker and a FG by Healy. That run gave Summit a 40-38 advantage. Hanover Park answered with four points and another field goal by Healy tied the score at 42 all, with 4 minutes left.
