Summit traveled for what could be the last time to the far reaches of Dover High school for a rematch against the Dover team, who played much better than the last time. Unfortunately for them, they ran into a red hot Summit squad that shot 27-51 from the field and handily won 68-40. The game was really over in the first period, when Emily Cristaldi scored 11 points, 9 on three’s, and the team shot an astounding 11-16 in the quarter. Kate Martino was 3-3 for the game including a three, Michelle Burian was 2-4 from the field, burying two threes in a row, and Sasha Allen was 3-4 and added 3 boards. Najla Austin was the leading rebounder with 8, and also added 6 points. A total team effort for the Lady Hilltoppers on their way to an impressive 11-3 record.
