Emily Cristaldi connected on 4 straight 3-pointers plus a field goal to propel Summit to a 19-16 1st quarter lead. Hillside, coming off a 10 game winning streak, wasn't about to give up and came back to lead 26-24 at the half. Scoring by Alex Reid, Cristaldi , Kate Martino and Cassie Hall enabled Summit to secure a 3 point advantage going into the final 8 minutes. Hillside got the score to 44-42 with 2 minutes to play in the game. Despite four Summit turnovers in those final two minutes, the defense held Hillside scoreless and Summit came away with a 1st round victory in the Union County Tournament. Cristaldi led all scorers with 25 points. Reid had 8 rebounds and 6 assisits
