Gov. Livingston presented Summit with the toughest competition since the hard fought game against Oak Knoll. A low scoring 1st half ended with Summit up 13-11. Summit widened the gap a bit in the 3rd quarter when Emily Cristaldi scored 11 of her game high 21 points. Summit entered the 4th quarter with a slim 5 point margin. As the game wound down to the final minute GL, of course, fouled. Kate Martino (9 points) went to the foul line twice and went 4 for 4 to help preserve the victory.
Emily Cristaldi continues to move toward a 1000 point career. She currently has 778 points with 15 regular season game to play. Adding at least one game in the UCT and the State Tournament, Cristaldi only needs to average 13.1 points per game to break 1000.
