Summit traveled to Westfield who, after a bad start, had won 4 of their last 5 games. After a 15-9 first quarter the teams played essentially even and Summit had a 7 point lead starting the 4th quarter (36-29). To start the 4th quarter Nicole Johnson matched a pair of Westfield field goals. Then at the 3:30 mark Emily Cristaldi scored and Summit held its biggest lead of the game 42-33. At that point things began to come unglued. Over the next 3 minutes Westfield forced a number of turnovers and scored the next 9 points to tie the score at 42 all with about 10 seconds left. Summit inbounded the ball and got it to Cristaldi. She dribbled the full length of the court and scored a layup as the buzzer sounded.
Cristaldi scored 19 points to, yet again, lead the Summit scoring.
