Jay Crisfield and Jack Mulcahy combined for a 1 hit one run victory over Hillside in a 5 inning mercy rule game. Even though this game was a victory, it wasn't easy to find any great pleasure in beating up on a hapless opponent. Obviously, it provided an opportunity to fatten the batting averages and for many players to see action.
The statistics speak for themselves, but it is should be noted that Nick Orestanio hit his 3rd home run in the last two games.
