Jack Mulcahy. He pitched a great game and came within 2 outs of a 5 inning no-hitter. Unfortunately, a Roselle batter hit a little single just out of reach of the infield to ruin the no-hitter. Mulcahy really had his A-game going and he struck out 9 and walked only one batter. It doesn't get much better than that.

Summit got 4 runs in the 1st inning when Kenny Miller, Nick Oristanio and Ben Roessle singled scoring Miller. The right fielder made an egregious error on a flyball by Matt Dewald that allowed 2 more runs to score. Pat Birosak's single drove in the 4th run. Four more were added in the 3rd. Dewald singled, Jay Crisfield and Chris George got on via errors. Garrett Lerner drove in one run on a fielder's choice. Matt Rea's triple scored two more and Miller's single drove in Rea. Summit added another run in the 4th from a Crisfield triple and a Birosak single. Summit's 10th run resulted when Rea was hit by the pitcher, stole second and took third on a wild pitch. He eventually scored on a sacrifice fly by Dewald.

Summit is now 13-7
