Summit broke a three game losing streak with a victory over Roselle Park. Summit out scored Roselle Park in each of the first 3 quarters and carried a 13 point lead into the final 8 minutes.

The three point shot had been missing in Summit's last few games, but Clayton Johnson got the ball rolling by draining a 3 pointer on Summit's very first shot of the game. That got it started , and Shawn Hillas added a pair treys later in the quarter. Johnson added another 3 pointer to begin the 2nd quarter. Then in the 3rd quarter Cris Cafiero connected on three straight from behind the 3-point arc and Summit was off to the races.

Hillas led Summit's scorer's with 16 points. Johnson and Dwaine Dabney were right behind with 12 and 11 points respectively. The scoring was widely shared as Cafiero and Matt Wholley had 9 and 8 points. Summit had a lot of trouble containing Roselle Park's Malik Caldwell who scored 23 point, but Dabney played some fine defense on those occassions when he drew Caldwell to guard.
