Roselle extracted a heavy revenge for the season opening whipping that Summit laid on them. Summit came out very flat and Roselle came out roaring. Everything they did worked and Summit seemed to be in a daze. Roselle humiliated Summit by grabbing a 19 to 5 lead . That lead grew to 26-5 before Summit woke up. Even so Roselle went to the lockers leading 31-14. Nothing changed in the 3rd quarter and Roselle buried Summit and put the game out of reach 45-22 going into the 4th quarter. Summit showed some life in the 4th quarter , but it was way too late.
One statistic tells the story. Through three quarters Summit was 2 for 16 shooting 3-pointers. David Newton led Summit's scoring with 12 point, all in the 2nd half. Matt Wholey had 10 points and 6 rebounds.
