Won 2-0 (25-11, 25-20) The boys' varsity continued to dominate the opposition by beating JFK Paterson 2-0. Joe Callahan once again controlled the serving game by having 5 aces and scoring 9 points. He also had 17 assists and 4 blocks. Our attack was well balanced and was led by Garrett Benisch with 6 kills. Eric von Haas, John Lim and Cris Cafiero had 3 kills each. John Lim also had 4 blocks. Our defense was also very strong with Sam Densen having 11 passes/digs and Christian Flores having 10. |

Won 2-0 (25-13, 25-20) Summit had an fairly easy time with Iselin, but still had to come back a couple of times in the second game to win. Joe Callahan was once again impressive with his serve getting 4 aces and 10 points. He also had 6 passes/digs, 1 kill, 1 block and 30 assists. Joe spread the ball around confusing the Iselin defense. Cris Cafiero and Garret Benisch had 5 kills each while Sam Densen and Eric von Haas had 4 kills each. Our backcourt leaders were Anise Molina with 8 passes/digs, Luke Shehata with 7 and Christian Flores with 7. |

Won 2-1 (25-23, 25-27, 25-12) The first game was hard fought with rarely more than 2 points separating the teams. Watchung Hills had the lead until Summit forged ahead 19-18. Watchung Hills quickly rallied to 21-19. At that Point Luke Shehata served for 4 straight points and Summit went on to win the game. In game two Watchung Hills jumped to a 6-2 lead. Summit slowly closed the gap and finally took 23-22 lead. Two consecutive netted serves by Summit allowed Watchung Hills back in the game and they went on to win and force a 3rd game. With Summit up 4-2 in the final game Luke Shehata took over the serve. He had a great run, serving for 12 staight wining points and putting the game out of reach.
