Summit took the opening kickoff and drove 77 in 12 plays to score and made an emphatic statement that they were going to be in charge of the game. The Hilltoppers mixed 8 running play (featuring primarily AJ Iarussi and Ryan Bringewatt) along with 4 passes (to Sal Liberato, Peter Badgley, Luke Stephens and Stephen Whitman). The final 1 yard plunge was taken by Peter Badgley.

On Warren Hills' first possession the Summit defense quickly established that Warren Hills was not going anywhere on the ground. In 4 running plays The Streaks gained a total of minus one yard. They did show that they could move the ball through the air. However, a 3rd down sack of -9 yards forced Warren Hills to punt from their 35. The snap was mishandled and the punter finally regained possession only to have the ball ripped from his hands on the 15 yardline by Sal Liberato who took it into the end zone for Summit's second score. This fumble was also a precursor of the troubles Warren Hills would face as they would turn the ball over 5 times, 4 by fumbles and once on an interception.

Warren Hills' only score of the game came after the next kickoff. The Streaks hit on two successive pass play of 25 and 29 yards to score their only touchdown of the day. Warren Hills' next possession ended with a fumble on their 27 yardline. Passes to Sal Liberato and Peter Badgley gave Summit a 1st down on the 10 and runs by Bringewatt and Iarussi put the ball in the endzone. Summit would score twice more in the 2nd quarter to end the half up 33-6. The first came after recovering another fumble on the Streaks 14 yard line. Kyre Negron took the ball to the 3 and Bringewatt took it the final 3 yards. The second came after a punt was returned to the Warren Hill 39 by Mike Badgley. A pass to Liberato and a run by Bringewatt gave Summit a 1st down on the 27. From there Negron managed to thread his way through the entire Warren Hills defense to score.

Summit would score once more in the 3rd quarter on 60 yard drive in 8 plays. the big plays were a 28 yard run by Negron and a 10 yard gain by Iarussi for the TD. The remainder of the game was played by the bench with Tyler Carbone at the helm. In the final possession of the game the Sophomores drove from the Summit 16 to the Warren Hills 8, where Carbone took a knee to end the game.
