Jame Baumeister pitched his best game of the season, giving 0nly 4 hits, 1 walk and striking out 6. He got off to a great start by having a 3 pitch 1st inning. No one could remember ever seeing three outs on only 3 pitches. Baumeister continued his great start by striking out all three batters in the 2nd inning. For the 6 innings he pitched he allowed only 2 runs (both unearned). Curtis Slaght pitched the 7th in relief and allow no runs and no hits.

Summit picked up 2 runs in the 1st when Kyle Fries was hit, Nick Oristanio was safe on an error, Matt DeWald doubled and Andrew Perry singled. Three more were added in the 3rd. N. Oristanio walked, DeWald singled and Perry walked to load the bases. Andrew Oristanio had an RBI single and Joe Weil singled to score Perry and A. Oristanio. Summit's final 2 runs came in the 4th inning. Nick Abbott walked, stole 2nd and took 3rd on a wild pitch. Abbott scored when Fries was safe on an error. A single by N. Oristanio drove in Fries for Summit's final run.
