Summit JV soccer coach Kevin Zaleski's team completed its second consecutive undefeated season with a 2-2 draw against Elizabeth in the finals of the Union County JV Soccer Tournament, with the two teams being crowned Co-Champions of Union County.  First seeded Elizabeth led 2-0 at halftime, but Summit mounted a furious second half rally to tie the score.  Midway through the half, sophomore Nick Abbott scored on a header off a perfect corner kick by sophomore Will Snyder, and with 7 minutes remaining in the game Abbott broke through the Elizabeth defense to score again and level the score.  Sophomore goalie Hayden DeSanto and a strong group of Summit defenders kept Elizabeth off the scoreboard (with some help from the crossbar on two occasions) throughout the second half and two overtime periods before the game was declared a draw.  Summit's JV team finished the season with a 13-0-1 record.
