Summit 9 9 16 21 55
Rahway 10 17 19 15 61
It seemed that a different team took the floor against Rahway than had been seen for the last run of games. There was more energy, more drives to the hoop, more reliance on the inside game and less on the 3 point game. In their first meeting Rahway won by 30 points. This time Summit cut that margin to six points.

Summit stayed close in the first quarter (10-9) behind Cris Cafiero (5 points) and Ba'Shawn Mickens (4 points). Rahway had a big 2nd quarter and increased the lead to 9 points. Summit responded with a strong 3rd quarter with 16 points, but Rahway managed to take a 12 point lead into the final 8 minutes. Five points by Cafiero, 7 points by Mickens and a trey from Jon Menendez allowed Summit to cut the Rahway lead in half with 1:47 left in the game. Summit was forced to foul and Rahway responded by sinking 5 of 6 free throws and the margin remained at 6.

Mickens led all scorer with a season high 27 points and Cafiero added 14 points. Terry McKenna had 7 rebounds.
