Summit stayed close well into the 2nd quarter, but Scotch Plains eventually wore Summit down and scored many points off drives to the basket. Summit played good defense throughout the first half but ultimately Summit didn't have an answer for SPF's Oliver (21 points) and Bonacum (17 points).
Ba' Shawn Mickens again led the Summit scoring with 18 points, Colin Demerest led the rebounderss with 5.
