Union came to Summit as very heavy favorite and the 1st quarter seemed to support that idea. The Hilltoppers got their act together and closed the gap to 2 points at the half. The 3rd quarter , led by Ba'Shawn Micken's 7 points and 5 points from fellow sophomore Kyre Negron, allowed Summit to pull within one point. Unfortunately, Union turned up their defensive pressure and held Summit to 3 points over the final 8 minutes. Union is now 7-3
Mickens was Summit's only player to get to double digits (10) and Terry McKenna again led the rebounders with 7.
