Kelly Osmulski helped Summit avenge an earlier loss to Linden as she scored a career-high 41 points - establishing a new school record for points in a game. Osmulski, who hit an amazing 71% (17 of 24) of her shots from the field, surpassed even Wellington Smith, who scored 39 points in a men's game during the 2004-'05 season. The previous women's record was held by Renee Green, who scored 34 points in a game in 1995.
The battle was very close through the 1st half, with Summit enjoying a 30-26 lead . Summit broke the game open in the 3rd quarter as they scored 19 points while the defense held Linden to only 4 points.
Kate Martino contributed 12 points and added 12 assists.
