Summit held its own during the first quarter, trailing by only 4 points at the start of the second quarter. SPF shooters started hitting in earnest and, in what appeared to be a rout, led 37 - 24 at half time. Olivio Galluppo opened the third quarter with a trey, then there was no more scoring for Summit for over four minutes until Kate Martino hit two 3-pointers. Summit still trailed by 8 points entering the 4th quarter.

Summit's first six points in the fourth period were on foul shots, then Martino
hit for three baskets and Nicole Johnson for one. With 39 seconds
remaining Summit pulled within 2 points at 55 - 53. At 8.5 seconds they
still trailed by 2 at 57 - 55, Summit had to foul in an attempt to get
the ball back, SPF made 2 of 4 free throws, and the game was out of
reach.

Kate Martino was high scorer with 29 points (including 4 3-pointers). Her 29 points were the most points scored by any Summit player this season. Nicole Johnson had 12 points.
