On a rainy day at Memorial Field, Gov. Livingston scored 8 runs on only 6 hits, taking advantage of 8 walks, 5 Summit errors, 4 wild pitches and stealing 7 bases. Summit scored its only run in the 3rd inning when David Berardi led off with a walk, advanced to 2nd on a sacrifice bunt by Nick Abbott, and came home when Seth Ryan's ball found its way through the legs of GL's 2nd baseman.

One bright spot was no less than three outstanding defensive plays by Summit second baseman Kyle Fries, including a play thst turned what looked like a single up the middle into an inning ending 4-6-3 double play in the 7th inning. (reporting by James Abbott)
