Summit had a field day at Parsippany scoring 15 runs on 13 hits. The game was cut short at 5 innings under the "mercy" rules. Andrew Oristanio allowed only 2 hits and pitched 4 innings of no hit/no run ball. In the middle of those 4 innings, Oristanio had one inning that seemed to be an aberration. He walked the first three batters in the 3rd inning. They eventually scored as Parsippany’s only earned runs.

In the first inning Mike Nitzberg was on via an error, Sean Guida singled driving in Nitzberg. Kyle Fries was hit by the pitcher (note that he leads the team in being hit with 6) and Oristanio singled to drive in Guida, eventually Oristanio scored when Tanner Fulton was walked. Three more came in the 2nd inning. Seth Ryan singled to lead off. Guida and Kyle Fries walked and Oristanio doubled, driving in two. Justin Vitti picked up an RBI on a infield out.

The big inning was the 3rd. Singles by Ryan, Fries, Orsitanio, Floegel, and Tanner Fulton plus a triple by Guida adding six runs. Summit closed out the game with 3 runs in the 5th on back to back singles by Nitzberg and Guida. Two errors and a bad choice by Parsippany allowed Summit to take a 10 run lead..
