| This was a back and forth match throuhout the first 3 quarters. Summit carried a 2 point lead into the half time break, led by Ba'Shawn Mickens' 14 points. GL out scored Summit 15-12 in the 3rd and entered the final quarter with a one point lead.
Unfortunately, GL scored the first 6 points of the 4th quarter and Summit spent the rest of the game trying to close the gap. Mickens' eight fourth quarter points managed to get Summit to within 5 points with about 2 minutes left. Ryan Sweeney dropped in two free throws at the one minutes mark to close the gap to 3 points. However, GL was 5 for 5 from the free throw line in the final minute to seal the win.
Summit had no answer for GL's star Logan Kelley. Kelley scored 37 point and was 12-12 at the foul line. The GL team, as a whole, hit 18 of 20 fouls shots. Summit also had a good night shooting fouls (13 of 17) in losing cause. Mickens had a very strong night scoring 27 points, half of Summit's total. He was also a perfect 8 for 8 from the foul line.
