The Hilltoppers defense won the first quarter even though the offense scored only 6 points. However, from there on to the finish Gov. Livingston out scored Summit in each quarter. Summit was only down 4 points going into the final quarter. With aid of 6 points by Ba'Shawn Mickens and 5 points from Sophomore Ryan Sweeney the game remained close, 43-39, with only a minute to play. GL made 3 free throws down the stretch to win the game.

Mickens and Sweeney had 14 and 12 points respectively to lead the scoring for Summit. Mickens and Mendez each registered 7 rebounds.
