Summit avenged an earlier "at the buzzer" loss to Hillside. Summit took a 12-6 lead in the first quater led by Ryan Sweeney's 8 points. Ba'Shawn Mickens scored 10 points in the second quarter to maintian that 6 point lead at the half. Summit built the lead to 11 points by the end of the third quarter. Thanks, in part, to a dramatic 3-pointer at the buzzer by Scott Meagher. With about 4 minutes remaining in the Summit went into a slowdown mode, running time off the clock. However, two quick transition baskets ended that approach. With just under 2 minutes on the clock Hillside had cut the lead to 5 points. A field goal and a free throw by Jon Mendez pushed the lead back to 7 points with 38 second to play. Two FG by Hillside made the score 48-45 with under 10 seconds. A pair of Free throws Sweeney put the game out of reach.

Mickens led the Summit scoring with 22 points and Robbie Walsh contributed 7 rebounds.
