This is the second game this season that Summit has let get away. Hillside started fast, scoring the first 7 points but The Hilltoppers came on strong with an 11-4 run to close the gap. The Summit defense held Hillside to only 3 points in the second quarter and surged to a 23-16 lead at the half. The rally was paced by 11 1st half points by Ba'Shawn Mickens and 6 points by Levi Glick. The 3rd quarter continued the trend as Summit forged an 11 point lead entering the the 4th quarter. Then the roof fell in. Hilllside started draining 3-pointers (5 in all) and making the field goals they were missing previously. With a two minutes left Hillside took a 49-46 lead. Summit managed to tie the game at 50 on a FG by Ryan Sweeney with a minute to go. Summit had a good chance to take the lead but never really got the shot off. Finally with 5.6 seconds on the clock Hillside scored to win.
Mickens led all scorers with 23 points. Robby Walsh pulled in 9 rebounds and scored 10 points
