The isn't much good to be said about this contest. Scotch Plains was on its game both offensively and defensively and held Summit to only 12 points in the first half while scoring 30 points. While things were better in the 2nd half, Summit never really got close enough to threaten Scotch Plains' lead.

Ryan Sweeney was Summit's only player to make it into double digits with 10 points. Sweeney and Robby Walsh each had 6 rebounds.
