It was a great night for the Hilltoppers. Not only did they avenge an earlier loss to Linden, they also celebrated when Kate Martino scored her 1000th career point. In doing so, she joined an elite group consisting of Lindsay Burns, Renee Green, Emily Cristaldi and Danielle Scott.

Unfortunately, Linden turned the table on Summit by the same margin in the 2nd quarter and the half ended tied at 21 all. Summit regained it footing in the 3rd quarter and held a 4 point lead entering the 4th quarter. That lead was was erased at the 3:50 mark and the game was tied 39-39. Two free throws by Nicole Johnson and a field goal by Martino gave Summit a slim 3 point lead with under 2 minutes. That was quickly erased by Linden's #3 when she drained her 6th 3-pointer of the night . A field goal by Kelly Osmulski and a pair of free throws by Martino restored a 3 point lead for Summit with but 25 second left in the game. Linden scored a long range FG with 10 seconds left but a free throw by Johnson put the game away.
