Summit traveled to Hillside anticipating another 5 inning victory. However, for the first three innings it was a scoreless tie and Summit was held to only 2 hits. What's more, Hillside had played errorless ball. Unfortunately for Hillside, everything collapsed in the 4th inning with Summit scoring 14 runs off 8 hits, 2 walks, a hit batter and 4 Hillside errors.

The 4th inning featured home runs by Andrew George and David Berardi, doubles by John Floegel and Andrew Aguilera and singles Aguilera, Berardi, Floegel and George. Summit batted around twice.

It is worth noting that the two home runs are the first on the season for Summit. David Berardi pitched the first 4 innings and was credited with the win. Cam Fuoti pitched the final inning and completed the shutout.
