Summit extended its winning streak to eight games with a victory over Plainfield. Eric Kaufman, Andrew Aguilera and David Berardi combined to limit plainfield to 2 runs on only 3 hits. Kaufman was credited with the "win".

Nick Abbott got things started with a lead off single in the 1st inning. He stole 2 second and eventually scored on an error by the catcher. Tanner Fulton doubled and was driven in by Cam Fuoti's single. Another run came in the 2nd inning when Mike Bredahl was walked, stole 2nd base and came home on Andrew George's double. Two unearned runs in the 3rd made the score 5-1. Three consecutive errors and a sacrifice fly by Bredahl scored Sean Guida and Cam Fuoti. Summit's final runs were scored in the 5th inning. Guida led off with a single and was driven in by Cam Fuoti's triple. Fuoti scored on a single by Berardi.

Summit is undefeated in Conference play. Our Conference is made up of Rahway, Hillside, Roselle, Plainfield, St Mary and Summit.
