| (Statistics by Jim Abbott) Summit scored in the bottom of the 1st inning as Tanner Fulton singled and scored on Sean Guida's double. Union came right back with a run in the top of the 2nd. Summit regained the lead with one run in the bottom of the 2nd. Andrew Floegel, the starting pitcher, led off with a single and moved to second on Andrew George's single. Nick Abbott was walked to load the bases and Fulton brought home Floegel with a sacrifice fly. Three more runs in the 4th gave summit a 5-1 lead. Abbott got things started with a single and stole 2nd and moved to 3rd when Justin Vitti singled. A wild pitch allowed Abbott to score. Guida was safe on an error and a single by Cam Fuoti loaded the bases. Andrew Aguilera's sacfivice fly drove in Vitti. Kyle Brown followed with a single to score Guida with Summit's final run.
Union would score run in the 5th off reliever Guida and another run in 7th off Eric Kaufman, the closer. Union managed to get the tying run on base in the 7th, but Kaufman got a fly out to center and 4-3 ground out to kill the threat.
