Summit jumped to a 10 point lead in the 1st quarter and seemed on it's way to an easy victory. However, Oratory played Summit even during the next two quarters and late in the 3rd quarter Oratory had a 3-point spree and actually closed the lead to 45-40. That was way to close for comfort. From that point on Summit unleashed a scoring barrage and out scored Oratory 25-4 over the final 10 minutes.
Summit's game plan seemed have a different emphasis, focusing more on working the ball into Robby Walsh who could shoot or dish off to others for inside shots. Walsh responded by scoring a season high 16 points and Mac Wiesner was close behind with 14. Ba'Shawn Mickens, as usual, led all scorer's with 19 points. Walsh had a double-double with 15 rebounds.
