Wednesday, May 29 4:00PM Away North Group 2 Finals vs. Chatham Won 9-8 Kady Glynn made a stop in the closing minute of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Group 2 final to preserve a 9-8 victory for Summit. Summit out-shot Chatham, 17-8, in the first half, but Chatham's Goalie made some good saves to keep Chatham in the game. Summit used free position shots to build a 7-5 halftime lead. Four of those goals came off free shots, and one was scored off a rebound from a free position shot

A yellow card 12 seconds into the second half left Summit down a player. But it scored the first two goals of the second half to make it 9-6, and Summit started to slow the game down, milking the clock. However, Chatham scored twice, the last time with 1:30 left to make it a one-goal game. Chatham won the draw and looked poised to send the game to overtime, but Glynn made a great save.

Meaghan Celmer led the Summit scoring with 3 goals. Sara Szynal (1 assists) ann Stuart Humprey had 2 goals. Anna Baumiester and Olivia Kelly each added 1 goal. Kady Gylnn had 7 saves

Saturday, June 1 10:00AM Away Group 2 Finals vs. Allentown Won 16-11 Allentown won the first face off and scored 30 seconds into the game. A minute and a half later Stuart Humphrey picked up Summit's first goal. Another Allentown goal put them up 2-1. Over the next 8 minutes Summit scored 6 unanswered goals. Maddie Gramigna scored the first of her game high 6 goals. This was followed by goals by Anna Baumiester, Sara Szynal and a pair by Olivia Kelly. This seemed to set the tone for the rest of the game. An Allentown goal was answered by another goal by Kelly and Gramigna's 2nd score. Two Goals by Allentown in the final 40 seconds left the score 8-5 at the half.

As was true in the first half, Allentown scored off the first face off of the second half. Now it was a bit too close for comfort at 8-6. Summit put the game away with six consecutive goals (4 by Gramigna, 1 by Meaghen Celmer and 1 by Emma Olcott). Early in this string of goals Allentown was called for it 4th foul and had to play a player down for the rest of the game. With 11 minutes left Summit was up 14-6. Allentown had a spurt where they scored twice in the space of 15 seconds, but they were quickly answered by Szynal's pair.

The final six minutes saw wholesale subtitutions as every player got an opportunity to play in the championship game. Allentown's final 3 goals came in the final 60 seconds.

This was only the second loss for Allentown. Kady Glynn had 9 saves for Summit.
