Cam Fuoti got the starting assignment and pitched 4 scoreless inning and allowing only 3 hits. Andrew Aguilera pitched a perfect 5th inning and Sophomore Jason Scheinder pitched the 6th, and final inning of this “mercy” game, and recorded 3 strikeouts.
Summit was in charge from the start, scoring 4 runs in the 1st inning and two more in the 2nd. The Hilltoppers capped it off with 2 in the 5th and 3 more in the 6th. Summit only has to beat Roselle to clinch the Conference championship.
