Senior Holly Confalone, Summit's leading scorer last fall, followed with an insurance goal. Tess Hochberger was credited with an assist. Goalkeeper Callie Humphrey recorded the shutout, stopping six shots.

Won 5-0 Stephanie Ford scored three goals and Holly Confalone finished with two goals and an assist to lead sixth-seeded Summit to a 5-0 victory over 11th-seeded Kent Place in first round of the Union County Tournament.

Emily Chicules, Maggie Moriarity and Cecily Stabler each had an assist for Summit.

Oak Knoll tied the score and with, less than a minute left, scored the go ahead goal. Callie Humphrey made 6 saves.

Monday, Nov 4 TBD Away NJSIAA Sectional round of 16 vs. South Plainfield Won 2-2 (2-1 Shoot out) Summit (11th seed) advanced to the next round in the state tournament by winning (2-1) in a shootout after playing South Plainfield (6th Seed) to a 2-2 tie through 100 minutes in the first round of the North Jersey, Section, Group 3 tournament in South Plainfield.

Summit took a 2-0 lead in the shootout. South Plainfield made it 2-1 after the third round, but neither team scored from there.

Holly Confalone and Stephanie Ford scored for Summit in regulation, Callie Humphrey had six saves. Melissa MacPherson had an assist

Summit will meet 3rd seeded West Morris on Thursday Nov 7th
