Summit bounced back from its only loss to Morristown by convincingly defeating Dayton. However, there was an early worrisome moment. With an 11-6 lead in the final minute of the 1st quarter Summit turned the ball over three consecutive times under the Dayton basket, leading the six quick points and a 12-11 Dayton lead. The hiccup was only temporary and Summit rolled to a 18-8 second quarter. Robbie Walsh’s 7 points set the tone. Summit outscored Dayton in both the final quarters to win going away.
Matt Fischetti led the scoring with 15 points and Walsh had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Mac Wiesner scored 9 points and had 12 rebounds). Kyle Crotty added 9 points. Those four accounted for 47 of Summit's 56 points.
