Alec Fuoti took up where his brother had left off in yesterday’s Brearley game. He pitched a masterful five innings. He allowed only 3 hits, zero runs and struck out 10. You knew he had his stuff when he needed only 11 pitches in the 1st inning to dispatch RC. Only one of those 11 wasn’t a strike. After 5 innings, Jason Schneider finished the game, allowing only one hit. So far Summit has held their first two opponents scoreless while generating 14 runs.

Summit picked four runs in the 1st inning. Matt Murdock was safe on a error, Cam Fuoti ws walked and Alec Fuoti got a RBI single, Hunter Miller doubled in another run and Charlie Pacilio rapped a 2 RBI single.

Another run scored in the 2nd inning when Kyle Brown had a lead off single, stole 2nd and scored on Cam Fuoti’s single. Four more runs in the 5th wrapped up the scoring. Miller got on via an error, Alex Crane walked, Robby Faris singled and Murdock wrapped it up with a 2 RBI single.
