While Warren Hills had a weaker record going into this game they also play in a tougher conference. The first Warren Hills batter announced that this was going to be a tough game by hitting a home run. Warren Hills scored another 3 runs in the 3rd inning while holding Summit scoreless. So at the end of 3 innings The Blue Streaks were on top 4-0.
Summit scored all of its 5 runs in the top of the 4th. After one out Cam Fuoti drew a walk and his brother Alec doubled to bring him home. Will Schaffer doubled to score Alec Fuoti and Robby Faris single to drive in Schaffer. Alex Crane drew a walk and Kyle Kanaley was safe on a error that allowed Faris to come home. Finally, Kyle Brown singled to score Crane. That allowed Summit to take a 5-4 lead.
However, Warren Hills tied the score in the bottom of the fifth and in the bottom 6th the game fell apart when Warren Hills piled up 6 runs and put the game out of reach for Summit
