Cam Fuoti got off to a bad start in the 1st inning with a double and two singles that loaded the bases with no outs. However, the defense didn’t provide much support. Over the first two innings Summit made 5 errors that were combined with 7 Warren Hill hits to produce 11 runs ( only 4 of them earned) and pretty much put the game out of reach. Brian Cantillo took over with one out left in the 2nd inning. He pitched the final 3 innings giving up only one more run. In the last two inning, with Cam Fuoti back at short, Summit pulled off two 6-4-3 double plays.
Summit’s two runs came in the 2nd inning. Walks to Will Schaffer, Hunter Miller and Robby Faris loaded the bases and a single by Kyle Brown scored two runners.
