Rahway turned out to be way too much for Summit to handle. They were quick, very aggressive and good shooters. Steal after steal led to fast break Rahway goals. Summit couldn’t find an answer and were behind 48-18 at the half. The second half was a bit better but the losing margin was still 24 points. Rahway was devastating from 3-point land, racking up 10 treys. This was the second game in a row where Summit’s opponents hit 10 or more 3-pointers.

Patrick Maloney led the Hilltoppers scoring 12 points.

Note: Will Schaffer went 6 for 6 at the free throw line and has now scored on 25 of 26 season attempts, for an amazing 96%
