Summit took on Roselle Park in a non-conference game that was the opening game of the “Hoops for Hope” event. Summit started fast and took a n 18-11 lead in the 1st quarter, led by Jordon Gonzalez’s 10 points. He added 7 more in the 2nd quarter and Summit was up 33-28 at the half. Ahead by 8 point going to the 4th, Will Schafer (7 point) and Gonzalez (8 points) helped widen the final gap to 60-48.
Gonzalez wound up with 25 points and 7 rebounds, while Partrick Maloney had 14 points and 8 rebounds.
